The Kabaddi team of Gujarat Giants (GJG), formerly known as Gujarat Fortune Giants (GFG) is based in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. It became a franchise of the Pro Kabaddi League in season 5 (2017). They never won a single season but they were the runner-up in PKL season 5 (2017) and season 6 (2018) against Patna Pirates and Bengaluru Bulls.

Manpreet Singh retired from sports as a player in 2015. He was also a coach in the Punjab State Kabaddi Association from 2015 to 2019. He also received the Dhyan Chand award on August 29th, 2020 at National Sports Day.
