The Kabaddi team of Tamil Thalaivas (TMT) is based in Tamil Nadu, Utter Pradesh. It became a franchise of the Pro Kabaddi League in season 5 (2017). They never won a single season of Pro Kabaddi. They also never be the runner-up of any PKL season. Actor Vijay Sethupathi is the brand ambassador of this team. Indian National Kabaddi team won two world cups in 2004 & 2007 under the coaching of J. Udaya Kumar. According to the latest report of Times of India, the kabaddi coach J. Udaya Kumar has been suspended by the Kerala State Sports Council (KSSC) after receiving multiple complaints about abuse of power. He will be facing an inquiry on the alleged misconduct including biased selection and sexual harassment of female players.
