The Kabaddi team of Telugu Titans (TLT) is based in Vizagapatam (Previously known as Visakhapatnam), Hyderabad. They never won a single season of the Pro Kabaddi League. They also never be the runner-up of any PKL season. The team plays its home matches at GMC Balayogi Sports Complex, Hyderabad, India.
The top 6 positions will qualify for the knockouts while the four qualified teams at bottom of the knockouts will face each other in the eliminator rounds which are eliminator 1 and eliminator 2. Then the winners of the eliminator rounds will face the top two qualified teams of the playoffs in the semi-finals. Then the final match will be played between the semi-final’s winners to become the Pro Kabaddi champions.
The modern layout of the Pro Kabaddi consists of 137 matches with two eliminator rounds (eliminator I and eliminator II), two semi-finals matches, and the final match. The tournament will be played in the layout of the double robin-round where every team will play 22 matches in the league stages.
How Does the Pro Kabaddi Points Table Work?
The Pro Kabaddi Points Table works in the following way:
- Upon every win, 5 points will be awarded to the winning team.
- Upon every tie, 3 points will be awarded to both teams.
- Upon every defeat, 1 point will be awarded to the losing team if the margin of defeat is equal to or less than seven points.
- Upon every defeat, a zero-point will be awarded to the losing team if the margin of defeat is more than seven points.
